The Department of Works of the City of Jumilla is performing different jobs reform in the Plaza de Santa María.

On the other hand, they have placed a mesh enclosure in the bell tower of the Church of Santa Maria to keep out pigeons, which had left many droppings in recent years with the consequent deterioration occurs in historical monuments.
In this case the most damage has occurred within an already restored tower, but whose origins date back to the fifteenth century.
