During the last two weekends, the section of Ethnography and Natural Sciences Municipal Museum Jerónimo Molina has conducted Making Workshop Crystals which has had a number of children who have enjoyed the most of it.
The activity was framed within the program of the Department of Culture.
It was free and was focused on the smallest can learn the formation of these minerals in a fun way and the training time.
It has separated two parts, the first session of the workshop preparation of the crystals, and the results were studied this last Saturday, along with an audiovisual presentation on the giant crystals of Naica occurred.
Crystal formation was performed with the mixture of the hot water which is retained throughout the week in an insulated container that held the heat and humidity, so that the product would become glass, simulating the natural formation of these minerals.
The activity has been carried out having monitors Angel Francisco Cutillas and Sebastian Martinez, museum staff and the director thereof, Cayetano Herrero.
