Councillor for Equality, Salvi Pérez, this morning the campaign 'toxic relationships', which was launched last week in order to raise awareness, educate and prevent unequal equality and toxic affective relationships among adolescents.
It is intervening with a total of 14 classrooms of Secondary Education centers and private schools in the town, which is attended by about 300 young people aged between 13 & 15 years.
This program is developing dynamically and actively with 3 courses of the ESO and will run until November 20.
It is being developed in three sessions with each group.
The first one deals with issues relating to equality between men and women and the analysis of different socializing agents.
The second session will be focused on developing self-esteem and self-knowledge as well as toxic relationships.
Finally, the last session will address issues such as emotional self, ending with content related to relationships, an overview of the concept of romantic love, the love and the healthy development of sentences related to egalitarian relationships.
Salvi Perez has presented posters are part of the campaign on toxic relationships: "They are warned of the danger of being in a toxic relationship, collecting clues about what may be toxic in a relationship, as signs of control, humiliation or isolation. In short, indicative of unequal relations and a strong element of control and submission, this basis of gender violence ", he noted.
These posters will be shared in different secondary schools, public centers belonging to the City Council and in different areas cafes and youth meeting.
