The Councillor for Agriculture, Juan Gil Mira, is the new president of Local Agricultural Council, as agreed at the meeting held in the council room of the City of Jumilla, in the presence of the mayor, Juan Guardiola.
Also form part of a representative of each municipal group, with Francisco Gonzalez in the case of the PSOE, Francisco Martinez of PP and Mary Rivers by IU-LV.
In addition, he was present at the meeting a component of agricultural organizations COAG, ASAJA, UPA and ACRIMUR, and communicate before the next meeting who will be their representatives in the Council.
The meetings will be held with regular quarterly basis.
The current situation of roads in the municipality, which is acting since last month, was one of the main issues for discussion.
Various proposals raised by various representatives of the Agrarian own Local Council were also collected.
