More than two hundred people took part yesterday in the March Against Breast Cancer, one of the activities planned to mark International Day against the disease, which falls just today.
Participants set off from the Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola and ended in the Botanical Garden of Pueblo Nuevo where a plant could be as souvenir tie that activity was created.
Many of the participants carried the pink ribbon representing the fight against disease and a pink glasses being sold to five euros and whose proceeds will be destined to the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
The march was conducted by the Mayor of Jumilla, Juan Guardiola, the regional deputy, Yolanda Fernández, the Councillor for Health, Lucia Jimenez, as well as various components of the councilors and directors of the local board of the AECC.
Activities close Thursday with a speech in which he will talk about everything that happens after cancer.
It will be given by Marina Costa, a social worker of the AECC of Murcia at 19.00 in the Cultural Hall CajaMurcia.
