Yesterday the fitting and adaptation of the firm of rural roads in the municipality of Jumilla who have been affected by torrential rains that occurred in late summer were resumed.
The Councillor for Agriculture, Juan Gil, said they have made all necessary arrangements so that these actions are made as quickly as possible, but that had to wait for operators rejoin heavy farm machinery.
The first places where he will act in those areas where most damage occurred as a result of the storm last September 27, though data certify that virtually all municipal roads were damaged.
In most of them, missing the finer material, the gravel and topsoil, leaving the stones to view larger caliber.
There are places where the damage is even greater, with roads that have been completely cut off by the tunnels and trails made by the water.
From the Department of Agriculture it is conducting comprehensive report on all damages and notes that it will act as rapidly as possible the means that are available.
