The mayor of Jumilla, Juan Guardiola, held a meeting in Murcia with the Minister of Education, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora, and the director general of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel, who served, like those made so far with others advisors, as first contact, but also various issues affecting the town were discussed.
One of the main issues that was on the table was the new center of Primary Education in Jumilla, on which the minister said is contemplated in the Budget 2016, the project is being drafted and it is possible that in the last quarter of next year the first stone was placed.
He also spoke of schools currently in the locality, on which the mayor said that for years they have need more than the maintenance carried out from the city of Jumilla.
Guardiola also raised the financing of the Conservatory of Music in Jumilla, on which Sanchez-Mora said he believes will continue as before.
Urgent issue on the table was the report whose arrival is expected in the City and no duplication clarify the Bank of Books and would award the grant FAMP for moving forward with it.
The Minister of Education said that he understood that there was no duplication and that the matter would be solved in the coming days.
