There is no doubt that Athletic Club Jumilla shows determination to go all out to celebrate its silver anniversary.
Jumillano club celebrates 25 years since its birth, and among the activities planned to commemorate this figure is a special interest on 25 and 26 September.
In them, an event that, as manifested from the club itself, pursues the approach of different athletic events to citizens, bringing the sport beyond the tracks and making it accessible will be the first edition of "Athletics in the street" all present in the city during those days.
On this first occasion the chosen discipline is the high jump with a protagonist who could not be more special, the Cantabrian athlete Ruth Beitia, great attraction of the two days.
The triple European champion and world medalist attend a talk on Friday 25 in the Socio-Cultural Center "Roque Baños", starting at 19: 00h., Where he will relate their particular experiences in the development of his career and will answer all the questions posed by attendees.
On Saturday 26 at 10: 00h., Beitia will be exhibiting high jump in the Garden of La Glorieta, with the best regional specialists in the discipline.
For at least two hours, the recently classified 5th in the Beijing World also advise all those children and adults who want to try to jump on the enabled mat, and that may have a technical exception.
