618 people have entered the labor market since March of this year, resulting in a general decline and the best figures for the last six years, that is, unemployment is below the levels recorded in the 2010, which was even higher than those recorded in the month of May.
In data analysis, 149 men found work during the month of May, and 79 women.
The sector with the highest decrease has been registered in agriculture, which have entered the market works 136 people, followed by the services sector, which has lowered the unemployment rate to 51 people, 26 in industry and 11 in the field construction.
Also at regional and national level the decline in unemployment is the general trend.
Murcia has registered this May, the largest drop in nine years, with a 4% less than the region situated between the four communities of Spain with greater drop in the unemployment figures, which results in a figure of 5,344 fewer unemployed.
Moreover, the average Social Security membership in the Region of Murcia was placed last May at 525 977 people, representing in absolute terms an increase of 11,415 persons compared to the previous month (+ 2.22%) , according to data provided by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
In the last twelve months they have meant growth in the region of just over 4% of the average membership and a total of 21,349 new registrants.
This increase is the highest that has occurred in the region since 2001.
