This week finalized the work that the Department of Gardens has made in the Garden of San Anton, within the plan of actions that are taking place in various spaces and green areas of the city, with special attention to children's playgrounds.
In the Garden of San Anton they have invested over 11,000 euros for the renovation of parts of the playground, which has also renewed the pavement with special safety material rubber in addition to the replacement of part of the furniture .
The expansion of public lighting in this space, has been another important performances, with the renewal of streetlights and the expansion of these to ensure better lighting.
Likewise, the central ornamental garden fountain, which was years out of service, it has also been one of the outstanding works in the conditioning of the Plaza, which is already in operation.
Moreover the Garden of the Glorieta, and also has a children's play area, installed by the Council last week.
Following the action plan in gardens and parkland of Jumilla, it is scheduled under the Leader approach, more than 170,000 euros invested in various areas of the town.
Already they contracted all works relating to the various Leader projects to be allocated to gardens and public spaces.
The refurbishment of the playground of the Garden of San Juan, are progressing as planned, and during the next few weeks the other actions will be initiated.
On the one hand, the Steam Mill Garden, 38,000 euros for the replacement of playground equipment, benches and bins improvement will be invested, among other details.
Furthermore it is otherwise Alcoholera Square, at the top, with an investment of 34,000 euros, to unite both sides creating an open space run.
Ronda de Poniente, will be another space on which act, with more than 49,000 euros for the repair of the playground, the skate park, as well as basketball, plus the installation of gerontological games higher.
