Jumillano Fibromyalgia Association, AJUFI, in collaboration with the city, yesterday organized a talk dedicated to the care of the caregiver of people who seem fibromyalgia "silent disease".
The talk was given by psychologist Sergio Sanchez Hernandez, who discussed, among other issues, the problems that the caregiver of a patient with fibromyalgia face.
As noted "Caring is a situation that eventually we get to all input and involves a break to social, family and work that affects many areas of our daily lives."
"To prevent the caregiver from falling into conditions such as anxiety, depression, caregiver syndrome, the main thing is prevention. We arrived late if we have to talk about specific treatments for the caregiver, the main thing is prevention."
As explained, the Family School, would be a good prevention tool, and aims to inform, because the priority is to provide expert information to family members, so they know they face, learn to organize their lives and which detect are the warning signs.
