Last week, was approved in the agreements of the Local Government, the request to the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia, of the extension of the two grants to the continuity of the two Local Development Agents, currently they are serving the City of Jumilla in the areas of tourism and employment.
On the one hand, Agent for Local Tourism Development, the SEF will provide a grant of 27,045 euros, which the municipal contribution will add, in total, 41,800 euros.
Likewise, for the Local Development Agent of Employment and Training the extension of the grant of 27,045 euros, which together with the local will be 39,800 euros will be requested.
He according explained the spokesman of the government team, Alicia Abellan, "may continue to grant extension of these two contracts, because the City Council has the necessary financial sustainability reports".
Alicia Abellán explained, "employment is no local competition, so it is necessary to establish that the Council can take this service, because it meets the parameters set by the law."

Among the functions of the Local Development Agent Tourism is responsible, is on the one hand recognize, detect and investigate resources and tourism potential of Jumilla, catalog, define demand characteristics and needs, analyze projects and their impact, así' as carrying out marketing plans for products, trails, paths and monuments.
Moreover also investigating the resources and possibilities of different tourist destinations, tourism development plans produced and marketed according to demand, through the Tourist Office of Jumilla.
Moreover, the Agent for Employment and Local Development's main mission is to collaborate in the promotion and implementation of active employment policies related to the creation of business, developing this cooperation in the framework of joint and agreed action between the city and the Regional Employment and Training.
Some of its functions include the technical support in starting business projects, for consolidation in companies generating new jobs, advising and reporting on the technical, economic and financial viability and, in general, on plans to launch businesses .
Apart from the Department of Employment and Local Development also it works to value the need to implement in the village enterprise projects of local economic development and innovative initiatives for job creation at local resources, identifying new economic activities and potential entrepreneurs .
