Daniel Segura Nieto, student training cycle Higher Level 'Technician in Viticulture' in the Integrated Agricultural Training and Experience (CIFE) Jumilla Center, has won first prize in a communication test related to wine, by design a website to publicize the wine region from which it comes, on the occasion of the 'Competition of young wine professionals' held in Paris in the framework of the International Exhibition of Agriculture.
Daniel Segura, along with another student of the same training course, José Javier Soriano traveled to the French capital with their teacher, Maria Mercedes Ramon, to participate, representing Spain in the activities of that room, which is held annually, and and network with other schools from different European countries for possible exchanges and collaborations.
Hall under the two competitions for young professionals, livestock and wine, in which students competed farm-produce training from different countries, who faced various trials and recognition tasting of French wines were held.
On this occasion, besides testing organoleptic analysis, students were to perform a communication test related to the wine in which, through tools such as blogs, posters and websites, should make their wine country they come from.
The website designed by Daniel Segura won him first prize in this test.
Students were also able to share typical products of all participating regions, from countries such as Belgium, Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia and Germany, among others.
Some of these products were developed by the schools themselves.
Murcia representatives provided typical products of the region such as wines, meats, cheeses and sweet jumillanos.
For the exhibition and presentation of these products will be counted on the collaboration of Bodegas Hijos de Juan Gil, Olimendros, the Control Board of the Designation of Origin Jumilla Designation of Origin Queso de Murcia and CIFE Molina de Segura.
The general director of Food Industry and Agricultural Training, Angel Garcia Lidon, stressed "the importance of mobility for all those involved in the food industry training for students and more qualified teachers".
