The Department of Education has organized for Thursday, May 7, a lecture dedicated to the prevention and information "associated with the use of new technologies for minor hazards" in order to teach parents to identify strange behaviors and be able to act against situations.
The talk is mainly aimed at parents of children enrolled in 4th, 5th and 6th Primary, and will be headed by two professionals of the field.
On the one hand, Lt. Carlos Astráin Aguado, Team Women and Children (EMUME) of the Civil Guard.
Besides the talk will also participate Corporal Felix Lopez Canovas, Crime Team Leader and Technological Research (EDIT) of the Civil Guard.
Both are part of the Criminal Investigation Section of the Organic Unit of the Judicial Police (UOPJ), Judicial Police specialists.
The talk is Thursday, May 7, at 20.00 hours in the Sociocultural Centre Roque Baños, and it will be among other things, advice for parents and for children on the responsible use of internet promoting a relationship with technology, that does not violate rights and to increase personal growth of children, avoiding possible dangers.
Internet, risks and consequences of improper use, the risks to children, concepts such as cyber bullying cyberbullying, or how to deal with this situation are some of the explanations that bring parents during chara speakers.
