Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellán, was delivered this morning, the 31 diplomas to women who have successfully completed the two courses developed by the Association for the Integral Development of Women in Rural Water and Earth, in collaboration with the Department of Equality, on "Health care in the home, hygiene and personal security" and the "psychoeducational care of older people".
On the one hand, 16 people began the course of 96 hours, they have been working since the characteristics and needs of hygiene and health care of dependent people at home, to the administration of food and treatments for dependents, improving physical prowess and first aid or aspects of self-employment and environmental awareness.
Moreover, 15 students, beginning the second year, 40 hours, also focused psychoeducational eldercare.
Its characteristics, aging, changes and diseases, healthy habits, autonomy of the dependent person, or adaptation of housing and technical aids, have been some of the worked during this curos content.
In addition, students were also able to identify the conduct and behavior problems of older people, psychostimulation, grants and social resources, self-employment and environmental awareness, among others.
Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellán, congratulated the "by the interest shown during the courses, as well as for having concluded favorably. It is important to continue to encourage the training to contribute in this way, the empowerment of women".
