Jumilla City Council will receive a grant of over 80,000 euros of EU funds through the Department of Youth, for which the Youth Guarantee System will be launched in the town, and reinforce the service provided from Local Employment Centre, by hiring one more person who will join the Department for the years 2015 and 2016.
Thus, the annual contribution to the Department of Youth intended to Local Youth Center Empel, is remarkably increased to 80,000 euros, so that it can incorporate a guiding more, so the center will have two professionals.
For one, the guide will address the implementation of activities for activation of youth, under each operational program Youth Employment (POEJ) 2014-2020, co-financed vocational guidance, information and support to young people aged between 16 and 24 years for their professional and employment, especially for those without work not integrated into the education and training systems through the implementation of the Youth Guarantee.
In this sense the ESF Operational Programme of the Region of Murcia 2014-2020 to co-finance activation, guidance and support to young people over 25 years for incorporation into learning processes or the job market.
This expansion of services of Local Youth Employment Centre also will improve the system of counseling and attention given daily basis in the Department.
The Center is located in the Department of Youth in the Garden of King Don Pedro and offers various work programs of information, where interested youth can meet business directories, employment promotion services to those who can attend, or information on formal occupational training, and courses are conducted in Jumilla or other locations.
Likewise, the center offers job counseling in job search, through the design of a career path tailored to each person also providing techniques and tools for the job search.
Moreover, through the Centre ok to contact with companies interested in incorporating staff, through the intermediation of an employment, through the job more tailored to each professional profile provided.
Also in the Centro young people can find assistance program for self-employment, with which they develop a business plan and where detailed information on programs, grants or subsidies that can accommodate young people starting their own business will be provided.
