Jumilla became again this weekend, in regional capital of sport, this time with the II Bearded Trail, organized by the Hinneni Trail in collaboration with the Department of Sports, which has brought together 500 athletes this important test that is consolidated in the sporting calendar.
More than 300 people participated in the preventive security, including sports volunteers, Civil Protection, Red Cross, plus equipment and rescue of the Region of Murcia who was also present.
Sporting competition began at nine o'clock, with the first test, the Bearded Trail, 23 km with 1750 meters of positive slope.
The Cartagena Francisco José Díaz, was the winner of this category with a time of 2 hours, 6 minutes and 22 seconds.
The second place went to Francisco Alfonso Nicholas, of Murcia, and thirdly Alfonso de Moya, Cehegín qualified.
An hour later, came the Bearded Promo, 14 km, 850 meters uphill, which was imposed, Alfonso San Juan, the Excursionista Center Yecla, with a time of 1 hour 6 minutes 47 seconds, ahead Jose Soriano, Hinneni Trail, and third, Francisco José Pérez, Cehegín.
Men's promises, the winner was Nestor Arce, La Union, and girls, Carmen Evangelista, Cartagena.
The best local runners were been Libertad Gumersindo Pérez and José Estévez.
