To promote the rehabilitation of homes in the neighborhood of San Juan and the Old Town for a total of 150 homes in the town
The Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) published this week the orders of the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Planning with the rules for the call for grants to urban regeneration and renewal of the municipalities of Cartagena, Torre Pacheco and Jumilla.
It is state aid under the Plan to promote rental housing, the edificatoria rehabilitation and regeneration and urban renewal 2013-2016, which is aimed at improving residential structures and functional recovery of historic areas, urban centers, slums and rural villages.
Jumilla receive, thus, about 1,700,000 euros to promote the rehabilitation of homes in the neighborhood of San Juan and the Old Town.
A total of 150 homes will benefit from the subsidy plan approved by the Ministry of Development and the Autonomous Community, which became effective last December with the signing of the agreement that enables these investments, including the Minister of Development, Ana Pastor and Mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez.
In total in the Region of Murcia, 1,379 homes were rehabilitated and renewed 35 others in the five urban areas that have benefited from this agreement, two of them from Jumilla.
This agreement represents an excess of 16 million euros investment.
They may not have access to grants the works completed before the entry into force of the calls, and to be the beneficiary will have to submit the evaluation report of buildings and agreement of the community of owners of the building.
The deadline for implementation of the actions completed, a maximum of 30 September 2016.
Prepayment 30 percent
The maximum amount of state aid shall reflect the eligible costs of the action, which may not exceed 35 percent.
State aid is calculated by multiplying the number of properties to be rehabilitated by a unitary support up to 11,000 euros per household, or up to 30,000 in the case of houses built over others demolished.
The aid of the Autonomous Community shall be 35 percent of the share of state rehabilitation proceedings.
Grants are awarded through a competitive process, in order of submission of applications for each call.
The payment shall be effected, in the case of major works, with the payment in advance 30 percent of the grant, providing the municipal license and certificate of commencement of work, while the remaining 70 percent will pay a After presenting the final work certificate and proof of the grant.
For minor works one single payment prior justification for the grant is made.
