The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez and the Councillor for Tourism, Maria Dolores Fernandez, signed an agreement this morning with Integral Association Society for Rural Development, with the incorporation of information on Jumilla shall be provided in the new mobile application focused Rural tourism is developing this condition, called RuMapps.
As presented last month, the tourism potential of the town extended its diffusion through this mobile application, a project of interregional cooperation of the four Local Action Groups in the Region of Murcia, whereby the rural tourism be promoted throughout the region, within which the offer of Jumilla is included.
The project was funded by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Region of Murcia, EAFRD within the framework of the European Union, and within the application therefore included general information of the municipality, such as where to go, where to eat, accommodation, entertainment, tours, tourist products or information of interest, of the 32 localities that are included in the application, mainly rural character.
Through the agreement signed this morning, the City will provide part of the contents to be included on Jumilla in the application, which will authorize the use and dissemination of information published on the municipal website www.jumilla.org.
