Jumilla City Council recognizes Félix Pérez Lorente as Socivm the Municipal Museum Jerónimo Molina.
The event took place last Friday at the Museum of Ethnography and Natural Sciences, an award with the contribution of the Aragonese scientist studies in Jumilla on fossil mammal tracks the Hoya de la Sima is recognized.

Jumilla visited for the first time in 1997 to study fossil mammal tracks the Hoya de la Sima and since then, has become a regular student of the area.

The Museum is working with Professor Pérez Lorente, the publication of dinosaur footprints were discovered in the Sierra de Gavilanes and that will mean the discovery of a new species of dinosaur, the Hadrosaurus Altiplanoniensis.
The findings will be published in a Dutch journal, where the near extinction of the dinosaurs footprints were collected, 65 million years ago.
With this recognition, Felix Perez Lorente becomes part of the Museum's history as a member Socivm, the highest distinctive delivered by the Museum of Jumilla.
