The Department of Education has already paid 90,000 euros have been devoted this year to the various study aids in Jumilla, a total of 1,264 students who have chosen to various scholarships and transport subsidies, project beneficiaries reuse books and children of the second cycle of children.
On the one hand, a total of 312 children aged 3 to 5 years, were recipients of scholarships for the second cycle of child education, for a total of 29,500 euros for the purchase of school and teaching materials.
Moreover, the Department earmarked 15,000 euros for the creation of bank books, a reuse program book for children in 3rd and 5th grade, who have chosen a free book funded by the City.
It is an initiative which aims to encourage reuse of primary school books, subsidizing part of the project, with a budget of 15,000 euros.
Also, 275 students from Jumilla have benefited from the devices operated by the Department of Education for transporting students who are studying in Educational Centers Murcia, Valencia and Yecla through the scholarship program Bonobús, endowed with 45,000 euros.
As highlighted by the Councillor for Education, Alicia Abellán, "all scholarships and grants already paid to the beneficiary families. More than 1,200 students have benefited from municipal aid one way or another."
