The affective-sexual education and coeducation, main key to end the relationship inegalitarian (02/12/2014)

To mark the International Day to Combat AIDS, Department of Youth and Health, organized yesterday an informative day, besides a talk entitled "Sexual and Affective Education", which was conducted by psychologist Pascuala Ruíz Bernal.

The talk, which was addressed to parents, guardians, professionals and young people in general, focused on how the affective and sexual education is a very important aspect in the formation of children and adolescents.

Beyond the purely biological knowledge, transcendental process explains the construction of gender identity or emotional relationships in the cultural field.

For this reason, explained the psychologist, the information must be rigorous, objective and complete biological, psychological and social level, understanding human communication and sexuality as a source of health, pleasure and affection.

"It is impossible to separate sexuality and affection, if we build a society in which men and women can live together in equality and without discrimination, it is essential to provide students an affective and sexual quality education, and in this sense, sexual knowledge helps us to grow as people. "

Thus, during the talk was treated affective-sexual education and coeducation as key to end the inegalitarian relationships still continue to assume as normal keys.

So Pascuala Ruíz stressed "this inequality prevents a full development of the individual occurs and dominance-submission relationships that can lead to promote gender violence".
