The craftsmanship of Jumilla will be unveiled this weekend, with a market in which about a dozen exhibitors will display their works in the Calle del Rico, one of the highlights of historic enclaves Jumilla, opposite the House Artisan, which is also the Open Day I of this cultural center where traditional crafts of the town meets.
As highlighted Councilman Craft, Antonio Valero, "it is a way of publicizing Artisan House, its history and the work of the cottage industry of Jumilla. Through an open house and a flea market, this historic area of ​​town will come to life thanks to the initiative of the Association of Artisans of the town. "
The exhibition will be on Sunday, October 26, from 10.00 to 14.00, with ceramic work, macramé, knitting and crochet, or paint and other crafts, and also the people there will know the approach works other artisans who make the association inside the Artisan's House, which also may make purchases of local handicrafts.
Moreover, during the open house, visitors can see the exhibition of painting jumillana Laly Martinez, who has been extended an extra week to coincide with this open day at Artisan House.
