Youth throws back the "Young Art" competition, an initiative of the Department that it is fostering creativity and encouraging the participation of young people between 12 and 21 years of the town in various creative categories.
Councilman Young, Fernando Oñate and technical area, Isabel María Pérez, so this morning had an edition in which as explained, literature, music, visual arts and photography are the categories that young people can present their works, until February 16, 2014, the date on which the period will be closed.
The awards this year will be 140 euros for first prize in each category for the second 80 euros and 30 euros for the third.
The requirements to participate in each event may be obtained from the Office of Youth and Young also will have access to them through youth stewards of the two institutes of the town.
As highlighted Fernando Oñate, "Young Art Awards are a way to encourage creativity of our young people, encouraging participation and rewarding quality work."
Also the council has encouraged young people with creative entering the competition concerns, which this time also, the recognition of new talent is favored, to be included in the foundation requirement that can not be rewarded young people who have result winners in the last three editions.
The Office for Youth will be providing all information related to the contest to all youth interested in participating, as the deadline until 16 February.
