This weekend will be held in Jumilla for the second consecutive year the II Photographic marathon "Monument Jumilla", an activity organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism, along with the House Museum, led to value the monuments of Jumilla , and also pay tribute to one of its most illustrious of the town as José Antonio Tomás photographers.
As in last year, contestants will have to present the Saturday, October 18, at 9.00 in the Archaeological Museum Jerónimo Molina, and will then know the places, missions and opening times of the sites that will photograph well the characteristics required three snapshots submitted to the contest.
In this edition, as a novelty, contestants may submit two photos, which will be part of two special missions to be delivered at the beginning of the marathon.
These two photos do not become part of the contest, but those who get get an extra point for each mission.
From there, the contestants will have until 14:00 am to deliver the photos in the Archaeological Museum or send mail to lacasadelmuseo@gmail.com.
On Sunday 19 October at the Archaeological Museum, the papers will be presented, and will be the participants themselves with their votes to choose the third.
The first and second will be selected by the professional jury will be part own Jose Antonio Thomas, also winner of the last edition Emiliano Herrero, and various professional photographers in the locality.
The prizes include, a dinner at Restaurant De Loreto, a week in YoYo breakfast and a bottle of wine Viña Elena for first place, and 3D headphones / USB speakers for second place, and bottle of wine Viña Elena more a gift from home channels for third place.
