The exhibition "From Black to Red" invites visitors to the wine tasting dispar captured on canvas (06/10/2014)

Councillor for Culture and Tourism, María Dolores Fernández, head of Culture Department, Emiliano Hernandez and the representative of the group "Clam-Art" Mavi Pardo officially inaugurated yesterday, painting exhibition "From white to red", which until next October 25 will host the Museum of Ethnography and Natural Sciences Jerónimo Molina.

This is one of the activities included within the cultural agenda of the last quarter, in which more than thirty works of nine artists will be showcased collecting the intimate bond that unites inspiration came to art.

As stated María Dolores Fernández "is important to share with the other nearby cities all cultural concerns thus arrive at Jumilla, thus helping to enrich cultural union between cities, to which we give back in this case, our sincere thanks, to show in Jumilla this set of art. "

Also Emiliano Hernández stressed "closeness between peoples who collect paintings in the exhibition, with many things that unite us rather than divide us.'s Doubly interesting to have this exhibition, in which the proximity we have shown with neighboring cities participating in it, through the works of its authors. "

Meanwhile, Mavi Pardo, representing the group "Clam-Art", encouraged to visit the exhibition considering the disparate nuances included therein, to be composed of nine different artists work.

"In each of these pictures you can see a way of thinking, to paint and to be different, a richness that is part of the exhibition and that makes it different."

The event ended with the transfer of one of the paintings in the exhibition to the city of Jumilla, donation to the Councillor for Culture thanked on behalf of the people of Jumilla, which will become official through proper documentation in the General Register of City Hall.

The exhibition will run until 25 October, in the Multipurpose Room of the Museum of Ethnography and Natural Sciences Jerónimo Molina, in the usual opening hours of the museum, from Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00 hours, Sundays and holidays from 11.00 to 14.00.
