The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed in Jumilla the Operation MAELLUS ', aimed at clarifying a wave of robberies in the interior of vehicles, which has culminated in the identification and arrest of two youths, who are credited the alleged authorship of thirty crimes.
The operation began last summer, when members of the Civil Guard Jumilla detected a significant increase in robberies in the interior of vehicles that were parked in the resort facts that had caused some alarm among neighbors.
The first investigation focused on conducting visual inspections of vehicles and places where robberies were committed to collect all possible clues to the authors.
In addition and in parallel, the Meritorious developed preventive monitoring devices in areas where they used to commit crimes, with the aim of curbing the commission thereof.
Modus operandi
All events attributed to the detainees now correspond to robberies in the interior of vehicles parked in these different main streets of Jumilla, which have in common their execution pattern.
