The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, Councillor for Social Policy, John Calabuig and Josefa Abellán, president of Caritas Jumilla, have formalized the collaboration agreement between the City of Jumilla Jumilla and Caritas, to maintain social welfare programs that come developed in the municipality with the most needy families.
Thus, the City Council renewed its commitment to cooperate economically with Caritas Jumilla, through a grant of 10,000 euros, which will maintain the social programs that the institution place in the town, including the program that basic needs are ensuring food and medicine;
Spanish classes for immigrants, games Lady of Fatima, integral wardrobe, attention to pedestrians, canteen and social kitchen floor shelter for sick and program support, legal advice and documentation processing immigrants.
All social primary care services and social integration and cooperation promotion service dedicated to promoting social participation and solidarity are addressed among which include the service in the family and community media.
