Jumilla participated last Saturday in the XXX Festival of Bands Band Federation Region of Murcia, held in the nearby town of Mula, and that this time was represented by Jumillano Musical Band Association Julian Santos.
Alongside Jumillano training on the 30th anniversary of the Festival also attended the Musical Union Villa of Bullas, Musical Union San Pedro del Pinatar and hostess Mulense Music Group.
The festival began with a parade of the three participating formations departing separately from different places of the town, to join in the Plaza del Hospital where they handed over a memento for their participation in this 30th anniversary.
Mari Carmen Thomas, president of the Musical Association Julian Santos, described the passage through the Festival as very "pleasant and enriching" highlighting the hospitality of the host village Mula, who also emphasizes that received congratulations from the muleña group "on the right Jumillano band parading in the meeting. "
The Federation of Bands Murcia has a total of 36 bands within the Federated Music included about 4,500 federal musicians, and has been doing this festival for three decades in order to enhance the recognition of the cultural value of music within society Murcia.
