As approved in the Local Government on 14 July, a proposal from the Department of Public Safety, the City of Jumilla yesterday adhered to the agreement promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces with General Traffic , through which the residents of Jumilla, in the municipal offices, they can make the change of address of the registration certificate of vehicles owned, thus avoiding the shift Provincial Traffic Headquarters located in Murcia.
The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, attended yesterday the signing of the agreement, which many municipalities over the region joined, and they formalized in the presence of the Government Delegate in the Region of Murcia, Joaquín Bascuñana, the Secretary-General of the Government Office, Fernando Mateo, and the Provincial Traffic Chief, Virginia Juarez.
An agreement, as indicated by Enrique Jiménez, "allowing citizens to perform this procedure from the Chief of the local police in Jumilla, and to further the exchange of information between the DGT and the local police will be strengthened."
As highlighted by the Councillor for Public Safety, Marina Garcia, "earlier this month, visiting Jumilla Provincial Traffic Chief, Virginia Juarez and the head of the Road Safety headquarters, Maiquez Francisco. Outcome of this meeting is the agreement that we signed yesterday in Murcia, whereby Jumillano, unnecessary procedures, which can be made from Jumilla, besides keeping updated records of vehicles and drivers and offenders "will be avoided.
Likewise, the head of the area councilor, has clarified that in addition to this agreement, continue to advance the implementation of future programs to be launch in Jumilla, such as Arena 2 and E-Mail Vial, DEV, "A breakthrough for the citizens and to the Department upon which we continue to work in order to implement them as soon as possible. "
