Since last year, the city of Jumilla is part of all local authorities adhered to the convention against irregular economy driven by the Community, in order to pursue behaviors that violate the rights of workers and negatively affect the competitiveness of companies.
This week the commission tracking that agreement, made by the Director General of Labour, Fernando Vélez, and the Councillor of Finance of the municipality, Alicia Abellan, who also participated in the regional manager of the Labour Inspectorate, Diego Martinez met , and Inspector of Taxes of the City of Jumilla.
During the meeting, among other issues, balance on the implementation of the agreement was made in the town, and placed in common agreement the next challenges facing the fight against the underground economy in the city and other municipalities assigned to this measure in the region.
This agreement is part of the measures included in the first Regional Plan Against Irregular Economy launched by the regional government to promote and establish reciprocal communication pathways with which to detect undeclared activities defraudatorio mood.
One of the priority objectives of the Plan is to strengthen cooperation between administrations to increase efficiency in this area, through the exchange of information between the parties on any indication of undeclared activity that may occur in the municipalities of the region.
