That the Templars Association Jumilla, and cultural nonprofit association, keeping to the dissemination and promotion of our historical, cultural heritage and traditions, both within and outside the municipality Jumillano, joining in our celebrations in honor of the Virgin, celebrate in the chapel of St. Augustine, as is traditional in these past eleven years the Templar Guard Our Lady of the Assumption, patroness of Jumilla Excelsa, which marks its twelfth edition in the wake of Sunday August 3, zero hours at six in the morning, in pursuance of the content, unique in the world, the Chapter Acts of the Council of the town of Jumilla, jealously guarded original documents in the Municipal Archives of Jumilla dated in 1614, 1615 and 1616.

The Templars Association Jumilla has no objection regarding the material good of the recumbent statue of Our Lady of the Assumption, obtained the appropriate permit our City as solely responsible for the well being exposed in appropriate places, outside the Chapel of St. Augustine, for the people to get closer to her more easily.
We are totally against the recumbent statue of Our Lady of the Assumption is not, at the time that there should be a transfer from its home, in this case the shrine of St. Augustine, as a violation of our traditions, the Code of Canon Law, and the inheritance of generations of our ancestors that distinguishes us as a people and as believers.
