A dozen people successfully passed this weekend, the induction course for volunteers of Civil Protection, the Department of Public Safety has developed as mandatory training before becoming part of this municipal volunteer group.
The course was held on Saturday and Sunday, with a total of 12 hours over six theoretical and practical modules, more a theoretical examination.
Fire, communication, basic life support, legislation, new technologies and road safety measures were among the subjects who worked during training, through which also knew that it is the national, regional and municipal civil protection structure, which are regulations of the group or its various areas of operation.
Councillor for Public Safety, Marina Garcia, was in charge of making the opening of the course, together with the Councillor for Sports, Juan Manuel Abellan, thanking both prospective volunteers and volunarias, participation and willingness when joining this important local cluster.
Modules and communications legislation Coordinator of Civil Protection Jumilla, Juan Lozoya, addressed while the area of ​​road safety, took over the head of the local police in Jumilla, Antonio Mula.
During training also intervened Juan Pedro Guardiola, Health Emergency Technician, responsible for providing instruction on basic life support, and Jose Antonio Espinosa, Computer Technician, Manager New Technologies section.
Finally, the Chief Fire Station Jumilla, Sergeant was responsible for closing the course module performance fire.
"The course is mandatory for volunteers to enroll in the group for the first time, and recommended for those who renew itself in order to recycle the foreground.
