Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellan, met this morning in the city of Jumilla with representatives of various women's associations in the municipality, to take stock of the activities carried out so far this year and planning to pool planned for the second half, in which he outlines the Second Meeting of the Bank of experiences, planned for late September.
The meeting was attended by the Associated Country Women of the districts of Encebras, Cañada del Trigo, Torre del Rico and Fuente del Pino, the Association of Widows, More Active and Alma, in addition to the Equality Officer, Paquita Ruiz.
As will be finalized at the meeting, one of the main activities of the semester will be the second meeting of the Bank of experiences, to be held on September 27, in the village of Fuente del Pino.
The Experience Bank is coordinated by the Department of Equality and ten associations he integrated township that actively exchange knowledge related to its scope.
The first meeting took place in September last year, in the hamlet of Torre del Rico, where about 50 women, shared their impressions after participating in this initiative, which served as a meeting point between the associations of women municipality.
Moreover, during the meeting the development of modules that the Department of Equality will be taught in all the associations belonging to the Bank of experiences, in order to reinforce concepts of equality among the participants in this initiative was scheduled.
In addition, it was reported the completion of the Municipal II March for Women 'Get Going Against Cancer "will take place on October 19.
