The Local Employment Council meets to evaluate employment policies in the city (11/07/2014)

In the city of Jumilla held yesterday the Local Employment Council which was chaired by the Councillor for Economy and Employment, Almudena Martinez, and which were present in charge of Finance, Alicia Abellan, the Minister of Industry, Francisco José Tomás, councilors and municipal groups representing different unions, the Association of Autonomous and members of the standing platform.

During the council an agenda comprised of eight points, which began with the adoption of changes in board composition, as a result of the resignation of the vice presidency, the council now Antonio Martínez Molina and the appointment of Ana García developed as a new representative of the Association of Independent Entrepreneurs and Jumilla.

In addition to members of the Council's planned bid for 2014 SEF application training courses to unemployed and proposed courses FECOAM plan for imparting training in Jumilla in collaboration with the City Council was provided.

During both points were discussed and revealed, by the Board members, various training proposals on its possible implementation will be discussed by the technical area.

Also during the Council realized the initiatives carried out more recently by the departments of Economics and Employment, Industry and Youth.

Among others, unveiled the changes in the rules of the Business Incubator to ease and facilitate the establishment of new industries in the town.

It also explained what is the Programme Transmission Business Development Institute, which aims to ensure they survive consolidated lack of succession companies, coordinating mechanisms to bring together sellers of businesses with potential buyers, offering some added analytical services and advice, both buyer and seller, to facilitate and ensure the reliability of the operation, thus avoiding the closure of consolidated companies.

Similarly, it was also reported that other initiatives can be found on the municipal website www.jumilla.org where links are collected for those interested to find relevant information.

Finally, one of the points was membership of the City Council of the National Youth Guarantee Plan that will benefit all young people under 25 who do not study or work in order to promote youth employment through active policies employment.
