The Municipal School Board meeting last Tuesday in the city of Jumilla, to approve the 2014-2015 school calendar for the course, in addition to pool various topical issues related to the area of ​​education in Jumilla, as are the actions the Department is performing schools in the municipality, or the situation in terms of building the future Center and Primary Education.
The Council was chaired by the Councillor for Education, Alicia Abellan, and was attended by representatives of teaching unions, parents' associations in the municipality, municipal groups, representatives of public and private schools and staff Administrative Service.
Thus, as approved by the School Board, classes will begin on September 8 and end on June 23, 2015. The Christmas holiday will take place between December 22 and January 6, and those of Santa March 30 to April 10 week.
The festive calendar as well contemplate on December 8, for Immaculate Conception, March 19, San Jose, May 1, Labour Day, June 9, Day of the Region and on 28 November, Patron.
It was also agreed as non-school days on March 20 and June 8.
Moreover, during the council topics such as the various actions that the departments of Education and Services are committed in the schools of the town, centered remodeling elements and maintenance were discussed, as are paint jobs masonry, carpentry and plumbing, which will be developed throughout the summer.
