The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities tests performed today Extraordinary School Awards in 2014 who have registered a total of 603 students, 100 more than the 2013 edition, and in which on this occasion was Jumilla This low representation of four students and students of IES jumillanos Archbishop Lozano, three of the modality of Science and Technology and Humanities and Social Sciences.
The tests, to all eligible students with a mean score of 8.75 on, were held yesterday at the Secondary School Bachelor of Murcia Francisco Cascales.
The award, 700 euros and diploma for each of the winners, the 13 students who obtained top marks in these tests will be granted.
To do this, the students had to perform three exercises in which they were asked to analyze and comment on a text of historical, literary or historical-literary, analyze a text belonging to the foreign language chosen by the student and, in the third year, develop a topic, answer questions or solve practical exercises, depending on the attended field, previously entered in the registration.
The Director General of Educational Quality, Innovation and Attention to Diversity, Begoña Iniesta said the success of the event and stressed the importance of these tests "in recognition of the effort and the work done by high school students in the region."
In addition, Iniesta remembered that this initiative supports the measures contained in the '+ Educational Quality + School Success' strategy of the Ministry of Education, which aims to improve the school success in students in the region.
