The president of the Organization Murciana Business and Professional Women of the Region of Murcia (OMEP), Manuela Marín Gómez, visited this morning, the City accompanied by Pilar Corredor, businesswoman town to meet with the Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellan, and the Councillor for Economy and Employment Almudena Martínez, in order to share the different activities that will carry the organization in the town.
For weeks, both councils have maintained contact to see the possibility of establishing this organization of women entrepreneurs in the town.
Although the delegation of the association has already started business, is expected to be in the fall when this officially to be known, in particular, women entrepreneurs in the municipality.
The Organization Murciana Business and Professional Women of the Region of Murcia (OMEP) is a business association that brings together a group of important women entrepreneurs and professionals from all economic and social areas of the Region of Murcia which has stood since 1993 ideals of women in the business world.
OMEP objectives are to promote entrepreneurship, training, access to new information technologies and communication, and promoting employment in the Region of Murcia contributing to equality between women and men in business areas and organizational .
Among other things, the partnership will promote the defense of the interests of women entrepreneurs, as well as serving as a meeting point between entrepreneurs of different municipalities in the region.
