The mayor of Jumilla, while Councillor for Environment, Enrique Jimenez, this morning signed agreement between the City of Jumilla and Oils Association Household Murcia, AERTAMUR, in order to establish guidelines in conducting collection service of household oil, and promote environmental education activities that increase public awareness on recycling of this waste.
Awareness-raising began this morning at the Market, where the Technical Service Environment of the City of Jumilla, along with Aertamur, distributed about 600 funnels for recycling cooking oil, as well as offering additional information on the importance This type of action to preserve the environment.
Thus, through the agreement, the City of Jumilla is committed to facilitate the work of collection of used oil, in addition to proposing and developing plans for installation and / or relocation of collection points to the municipality in collaboration with AERTAMUR.
Moreover, both organizations will encourage the promotion of recycling of used oil and notions of environmental education up service at events such as World Environment Day, Women's Day, the festivities, among others.
AERTAMUR Meanwhile, in the town will install new bottle-shaped containers that incorporate anti-vandalism systems, and develop actions aimed at maintaining sanitary conditions and structural container.
Currently already installed four new pickup shaped bottle, along with the educational establishment Stone Cross, Our Lady of the Assumption and Archbishop Lozano, and another in the Plaza del Rollo, in addition to with the four already had in the town located on Avenue of the Catholic Monarchs, CEIP Miguel Hernández, CIFE and Market.
