The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez and Councilman Celebrations and Citizen Participation, Antonio Valero, yesterday attended the awards for Best Tapas Route "Wine And Cheese tastes Kiss" organized by Central Quesera Carchelo Montesinos and Wineries .
Thus, as the jury concluded this 4th edition, the Award for Best Cover Submitted went to "Conqueasiesque" Brewery "The Roalico", the award for Best paired with Wine Tapa Carchelo for "Chaparral" Bar "Chaparral" and finally, the grand prize of the route, that of Best Cover, which only takes into account the votes of the clients, went to "The Egg of Pius XII" Cafeteria "Pius XII".
In second place was "Divine" Bar Delights, and in third place tied "Sweet Noa" from Millenium Pizzeria and "El Chaparral" Bar Chaparral.
In figures, the route from the top "Wine and Cheese tastes Kiss" has left this year in Jumilla few results about 80,000 caps, which at 2.50 euros each involves an economic boost in participating bars and restaurants 200,000 euros, ie an average of 8,400 euros per establishment.
We have also distributed more than 28,000 direct gifts via scratch, and 7,500 pamphlets, of which the organization has received in their mailboxes 883.193 sealed them in full.
According stressed about the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, "having economic salutary for the hotel sector this initiative is important, more particularly tough time for these businesses."
