Under the watchful eye of numerous jumillanos photographers, professional and amateur, and supporters and devotees of the Holy Week in Jumilla, presented yesterday at the Museum of Ethnography and Natural Sciences "Jerónimo Molina", a documentary made by young Sandra Gomez Guardiola, in the long tradition of this photography festival in the town is collected.
As explained by the creator of the project, the documentary starts with the intention of combining the perspective of photography amateur photography author, in order to provide a specific vision of what you feel and want to express Jumillano photographer through the lens of your camera.
Thus, the testimony of photographers or graying name as Luis Bartolomé Medina, merges with the amateur snapshot, picking up his impressions in a pioneering project in the town, as it is, capture the feelings of the photographers of the Week Santa Jumilla.
After the projection, Bartolomé Medina and Cayetano Herrero, sang a gathering, which addressed various issues like, how long this hobby exists in Jumilla for capturing snapshots semanasanteras, who were the first to drive it, or how it has evolved photography since.
