Last Friday was, the concert organized by the Conservatory of Music "Julian Santos" Jumilla, as a complementary activity to the academic training center offering music lessons.
The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, and the Councillor for Education and Music Lessons, Ramiro Garcia Crezo, together with fellow councilor, Francisco José Tomás, attended the concert, and the director of the Conservatory of Cieza, Mara Torres Marin, among other authorities.
Handel, Mozart and Britten were among the authors interpreted by the students of 1st and 6th course of the Conservatory Orchestra "Julian Santos" during the first part of the act, which ended with a performance at the piano, one of the guest artists, pianist Mary Gilar.
The second half began with the performances of students that make up the wind-metal formations, woodwind and percussion professional Conservatory Band Jumilla.
"The Bordoño" Julian Santos, "Last Night" V. Ferrer or "Rhapsody in Blue" by G. Gershwin, the latter, with piano accompaniment Amaya Goicoechea, were some of the pieces that the band sang for enjoy nearly 200 attendees who completed the room.
