Councillor for Culture and Tourism, María Dolores Fernández, and the Councillor for Agriculture, Francisco Martínez Escandell, attended this morning, the first day of tasting the Wine Interpretation Centre will host today and tomorrow, for the XX Quality Contest The Wine of the Jumilla.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event, along with local professionals who are among the most important journalists from around the country, purchasing managers from leading wine clubs, as well 'as technicians from the Ministry of Agriculture and the respective ministries of Murcia and Castilla-La Mancha, will join three of Asian origin, representing the China Interwine Fair.
A total of 21 tasters will evaluating the hundred wines presented in competition at this issue.
The tastings will end tomorrow Friday morning, and awards resulting from these tastings will be announced during the course of a gala dinner to be held tomorrow night at the Media Luna Salons Jumilla.
