The Templars Jumilla Association has written to the mayor of the city, Enrique Jiménez (PP), expressing his "unconditional" support to Councilman Antonio Valero celebrations "for his involvement in the 2014 Carnaval, his costume, his behavior, his citizen participation and involvement in the event and, from the perspective of the Templars - indicates the letter "by his respect for everything and everybody."
The letter is dated March 5 and entry in the Register of the Government Delegation in Catalonia on 03.07.2014 and bearing the seal and signature of the association president José Tomás Galea.
THE FACTS: The costume mayor, referring to the Virgin Mary, has led to the intervention of the pastor of the Church of the Savior on the town demanding his removal, the intervention of the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena Murcia, and has generated wide coverage in the media nationally and likewise manifest a sector Jumillano embodied citizenship document signatures in support of the council.
