The official chronicler of Jumilla, Antonio Verdú, offered next Thursday, at 20.00 am at the Cultural Hall CajaMurcia, a conference about the historical tradition of Teatro Vico, social and cultural center of Jumilla since 1883.
The theater was inaugurated on Tuesday, August 14, 1883, by Mayor Rafael Soriano Palencia, and the work that was performed was the first operetta "The Tempest", which involved Lacarre tenor, baritone Bueso , low Miguel Soler and Latorre Nadal and treble.
Since then cultural life has always revolved around this theater, which had to put name, and D. José Guardiola would Peral (brother of Grandma D.
