The Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellan, accompanied by the agent of the City Equality, Paquita Ruiz, gave today announced the program of activities that the Department of Equal Opportunities has been prepared to commemorate March 8, World Women's Day, and to be developed over coming days.
Activities will begin on Monday, March 3, with the awards ceremony and opening of the exhibition "Drawing Contest III Equality" which elementary students from eight schools in Jumilla been made.
At 18.30 pm in the Plenary Hall of the City of Jumilla, will be the opening of the exhibition that will run until March 14 in time from 9.00 to 15.00 hours.
On Tuesday, March 4, at the Central Market, women's associations in the municipality held an exhibition of student work samples craft which will run from 10.00 to 12.00 hours.
On Wednesday, March 5, in collaboration with Cinema Club Interior, and Ana Ortiz Fernández, the film "Main Street" will be screened at 19.00 pm in the Sociocultural Roque Baños.
Admission is free.
By Thursday 6 March, the Department has prepared the workshop "Speaking in equality, language constructs thoughts" which will be in charge of the Most Active Partnership and will be a free event open to everyone.
The workshop will begin at 17.30 pm in the Sociocultural Roque Baños.
On Friday, March 7 at the Center for Child Care will be held at 17.00, a storyteller for equality, free and open to children aged 3 to 8 years.
On Saturday, March 8th, Women's Day, the day will be devoted to convivial "Jumilla in female" which begin with a tourist route through the Old Town, due out at 12.00, from Plaza de Arriba, and that end with a meal at the Duke of Lerma Restaurant, at 1400 hours.

The activities will end on Friday, March 14 with positive parenting workshop "Learning together, growing family," hosted by the Center for Child Care, CAI, 19.00 to 20.00, and will be directed fathers and mothers of the town.
The event is free, and there will be a free babysitter.
As stated Alicia Abellan, this time an attempt has been make a program that reach audiences of all ages, both men and women, in order to involve the more profiles better, work for equality opportunities in the town.
Father's Day
