As reported by the Councillor for Economy and Employment, Almudena Martinez, the city of Jumilla develop a course of sommeliers, to be subsidized by the Department of Employment and Training in the Region of Murcia, in the form of training actions aimed at people unemployed.
It will benefit 15 people to be trained for 730 hours and 80 hours of studying professional practice, spread over five hours a day, Monday through Friday.
To access this professional license requires that interested persons reach a certain level and meet one of the following requirements including: having obtained a bachelor's degree or GLSES LOE.
COU, FP II or higher level training cycles of any specialty.
Evidence of access to higher grade CCFF overcome or equivalent qualifications.
Councillor for Economy and Employment, Almudena Martinez said that "in short, the deadline for receipt of requests for those interested in reaching this professional certificate is opened."
It has also highlighted the importance of getting this type of professional qualification in sommelier since the town has numerous hotel services that could offer this additional service as a sign of quality and differentiation, thereby enhancing the richness of the local cuisine.
