The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, has organized a visit this morning with the spokesmen of the three local groups, PP, PSOE and IU-Greens, a municipal landfill facilities, so that groups know ele status and progress of works are being undertaken there.
As highlighted by the mayor, the intention is to involve the three groups of the state of implementation of the redevelopment of the landfill, which currently continues to serve the expected time, both the sealing and restoration of vessels 1, 2 and 3 and 4 on the vessel construction.
José Manuel Mazon, project manager, explained the evolution of the performances, so that in the beaker 2, has already been completed to the extent of the clay layer, necessary for waterproofing excavation also has completed also its degassing facilities fireplaces.

Once the plan is approved and built, it may initiate activity in municipal waste, which at this time remains paralyzed, while the works of adequacy of facilities running.
For this reason, the construction of the vessel 4 will take place in stages, in order to make use of the first part, as soon as possible, without having to be completed in full.
The Ministry, through European funds, has allocated € 2 million for environmental restoration and sealing of vessels 1, 2 and 3, and 800,000 euros for the construction of the fourth glass.
Nearly three million euros, according to the mayor has stressed, "the government team has managed to Jumilla, and will not have to leave the city coffers."
