The Councillor for Culture, Maria Dolores Fernandez, presented on Monday at the Theatre program Vico first quarter of 2014, which started the year with great works and names of height.
Leveraging the hearing, reported the incorporation of Jumilla Teatro Vico, the State Program Circulation Shows Performing Arts Spaces of Local Government, formalized in October 2013 through the signing of a cooperation protocol between the INAEM and FEMP (Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces).
The aim of the program is to promote joint programming performing arts companies by local authorities and INAEM to revive and enrich their cultural programming, facilitate communication between regions and guarantee citizens access to culture.
With the launch of PLATEA circuit, worth 6 million euros, which will benefit 150 municipal theaters, it is estimated that around 1,200 performances rotate the net benefit of more than 200 companies.
Through the program, the INAEM assume the difference between the income from box office for each show and cache budgeted by the company, so that access to important works will be provided, minimizing the risks of both parties.
According to the Minister of Culture said "it is well to revive the programming stage of the municipality, strengthening the professionalization and specialization of cultural managers and adding in quality in terms of visiting Jumilla works."
