The Public Library of Jumilla, has received the Ministry of Culture as a reward for their participation in the last campaign to encourage Reading Maria Moliner, bibliographic special batch for his work in favor of reading.
The lot consists of 180 books children's literature with a zoom thematic content and selected from the best and most specialized domestic and foreign publishers, aimed at a wide audience ranging from infants to young audiences.
The prize also includes an annual subscription to 5 Cultural paper journals: Scherzo, Discover Art, History and Life, Letras Libres and Keys of Practical Reason, copper topics related to music, art, history, literature and political thought.
As a novelty, the Municipal Library will receive an eBook reader (e-reader) Touch with Wi-Fi technology, suitable for all audiences.
This e-reader has among other eBooks with 10 such important authors as Cervantes Prize José Manuel Caballero Bonald, Sergio Vila-Sanjuan or Alice Munro's recent Nobel Prize for Literature.
This award recognizes the work and effort of the Public Library of Jumilla and will be made available to all users, for their usefulness and enjoyment.
The Councillor for Culture, Maria Dolores Fernandez welcomed from the Department, "the work of the Municipal Library for and benefit from increased reading in the town, as a source of health, culture and wisdom."
